How to inspect the repeat
Trust what you see
at every scale.
A seamless tile should continue naturally across all four edges. Zooming out reveals rhythm problems; zooming in exposes hard lines, broken objects and colour jumps.
Change the tile size
Small repeats reveal rhythm and spacing issues; larger repeats make edge details easier to inspect.
Shift the offsets
Move the repeat horizontally and vertically to bring every join into a clear viewing position.
